We'd like to invite you to a meeting on Friday, March 16 at the Alpine Inn at 6:30pm. We'll make final plans for building this summer and discuss a couple of other fundraising options.
Here is a preliminary agenda:
501c3 - our application has been accepted and our Letter of Determination from the IRS should arrive in the next 3 weeks
Coal Miner's Ball - the Alpine has invited us to have a fundraiser at the CMB at the end of April. We'd like to do a silent auction fundraiser.
Raffle - John has thrown out some ideas for an annual larger fundraiser raffle for insurance/utilities/admin costs
Building plans - finalize plans.
Should have quote from AK Insulform for all 4 walls by next Monday
Will need concrete quote once we decide wall width
Need to finalize interior walls, basic kitchen plans, bathroom, all egress, etc. We've got a certified city code manager that has offered to do the blue plans (not from AK, so the codes won't be inspected).
